A Lifetime of Looking Beyond the Visible

There is a world behind the visible world. I felt that from an early age, even before I had words for it.

As a child, in the stillness of the night, I sometimes sensed a presence — something alive and vast. Where others saw only darkness, I saw light moving. Around that same time, I discovered the tarot. The images on the cards spoke to me like an old, silent language and awakened a curiosity that would never fade again.

From the age of thirteen, the library became one of my favourite places. There I devoured everything I could find about the occult, parapsychology, mysticism, symbolism and the hidden sides of human consciousness.

What began as a fascination became a lifelong search.

Nearly three decades later, I have essentially never stopped reading, learning and researching. Every discovery brought new questions with it: about the human psyche and consciousness, about dreams and symbols, about intuition and extrasensory perception, about astrology and mediumship, about the soul, and about the possibility that our reality is far wider than what our ordinary senses allow us to see.

From Intuition to Knowledge

As an adult, I increasingly wanted to understand what I had been experiencing since childhood.

I immersed myself in psychology, parapsychology and various symbolic and spiritual traditions. The work of Carl Gustav Jung led me to archetypes, the shadow and the collective unconscious. Marie-Louise von Franz deepened my fascination with dreams and the remarkable language of images and symbols.

There I discovered something that still lies at the heart of my work: an image need not be literal in order to carry truth or meaning.

In astrology I then found a second great language.

During my multi-year training with Karen Hamaker-Zondag, I explored the connection between astrology, psychology and the course of a life. The birth chart taught me to look differently at character, talents, life themes and development.

My intuitive way of perceiving thus gained ever more depth — and a framework.

Ten Years of Developing My Psychic Faculties

About ten years ago, alongside my many years of self-study, I began to train myself ever more intensively and systematically in astrology, clairvoyance, mediumship and various psychic faculties.

I took courses and trainings with internationally renowned mediums and continually practised, examined and refined my own perception.

What once happened spontaneously, I wanted to learn to understand and command consciously.

Not in order to replace my natural intuition with techniques, but precisely to learn to discern more clearly what I perceive, how information reaches me, and how I can translate it as purely as possible for another person.

Today that development still continues. At an advanced level I am delving further into, among other things, psychic detection and remote viewing, in which attention is used in a highly focused way to perceive information about people, places, objects or events without first having the usual sensory information at hand.

In this we do not work solely with the here and now. Attention can also be directed toward people, places and events from a distant past — sometimes hundreds of years back — and toward possible situations further ahead in time.

This has made my fascination with consciousness even greater.

For what happens when our perception moves not only beyond the boundaries of the immediately visible, but also beyond our ordinary experience of distance and time?

My Own Way of Seeing

Throughout all those years, I discovered that my own perception moves across a remarkably wide range.

I can attune myself to someone's current life situation, aura and energetic field, but also to talents, spiritual gifts and what I intuitively perceive around the body.

A particularly natural part of my perception is the spontaneous appearance of past lives. Images, places, people and stories can sometimes present themselves very vividly. For me, what matters most is why such an image appears at that specific moment, and what meaning it may carry for life today.

Possible future developments can also show themselves. I experience the future not as a single, immutably fixed fate, but rather as a field of potential and possibility.

And sometimes perception opens toward the spiritual world, and contact arises with someone who has passed away.

My own spiritual world also encompasses my belief in — and experience of — spiritual guides, angels and other forms of cosmic consciousness, including what I experience as star beings.

Tarot and Lenormand have remained familiar symbolic languages throughout my life. Astrology offers me a cosmic perspective. Sometimes, moreover, something very concrete appears during a reading: a mantra, a book, a symbol, an archetype or an exercise that can hold meaning for someone's further development.

Time as a Landscape

My experiences with different forms of perception have also taught me to look at time differently.

When an image from a distant past suddenly presents itself vividly in the present moment, or when, during focused perception, attention is brought to another period, a remarkable experience arises: something chronologically far away can suddenly come very close in perception.

The future I experience differently. There, it is rather possibilities, directions and potential that appear.

It has brought me to a question that occupies an ever more important place in my work:

What happens to our perception when we approach time not solely as a straight line from past to present to future?

I have no definitive answer to that — and that is precisely what I find fascinating.

Seership is therefore, for me, also a continual inquiry into consciousness, and into what becomes possible when we learn to direct our attention beyond the familiar boundaries of place, distance and time.

From Many Disciplines to a Single Art

For years I regarded astrology, tarot, mediumship, clairvoyance, symbolism, psychic development and my other interests as separate fields.

Slowly I began to realise that, for me, they all arise from the same fundamental movement:

the willingness to look further.

Toward what is visible and toward what lies behind it.

Toward the human being and toward the soul.

Toward the conscious and toward the unconscious.

Toward the present, but sometimes also toward past and future.

Toward the earth and toward the cosmos.

From this grew what I today call Seership.

And ultimately also:

The Art of Seership

For me, Seership is not any single technique and not a collection of tricks.

It is a living art of perceiving.

An art that asks for intuition, but also knowledge. Openness, but also discernment. Receptivity, but also responsibility.

That is why I keep studying, training, experiencing and researching. I do not regard my development as a Seer as something that will ever be entirely complete. Every new experience can once again teach me something about consciousness, symbolism and the many ways in which information can present itself.

What began with a child who saw light moving in the dark became a teenager searching for answers in libraries, an adult woman who trained for years in the psyche and the invisible — and ultimately a lifelong art of learning to see.

Passing On Seership

Perhaps one of the most beautiful developments is that today I am also able to pass this knowledge on.

I give, and have given, courses on Seership, tarot, astrology, shadow work and contact with spiritual guides.

In doing so, I do not want to teach people to copy my way of perceiving. Each person seems to have their own intuitive language. One person receives images; another feels, knows, hears, dreams, or discovers meaning through symbols.

I therefore see my task as a teacher above all as helping people discover, train and refine that language of their own — with attention to discernment.

It remains remarkable when someone suddenly realises that a subtle impression which at first seemed unimportant carries meaning. When a symbol comes to life. When someone gains trust in their own perception.

For me, passing on Seership does not mean teaching others to see as I see, but helping them discover how they themselves see.

And perhaps that ultimately brings me back to the child with whom this story began.

My questions have grown larger. My knowledge has grown. My perception has been trained and refined.

But the wonder has remained.
